4 months after my fathers passing, I continue to have vivid dreams about him, dreams about being in new places and interacting with him in a familiar, homey way. I can feel his presence, as it was, patient and steadfast. I can hear his voice and sense his personality. There was always a strong peace about him and a smile in his eyes.

I have accepted his passing in this reality I live in, but because we were so close and I never took him for granted, he will never really be gone from my life. My dreams will keep him alive with me forever.
