about
I have a friend who had a number keep reoccurring everywhere she went. 1043. And one day she passed that phenomenon over to me. Isn't that weird how that happens, noticing little synchronicity patterns? Well, I saw it everywhere too. I remember living near St. Louis years ago as a young dude with no money trying to make new friends to mixed results. Man, I missed all of my closest people. You could say I discovered another morsel of the meaning to life out there. I remember closing down the Jimmy John's and walking in the door to my apartment at 10:43pm like clockwork every night. Thanks for the synchronized texts when I needed it most, friend.
Friendship is a beautiful type of love that transcends time... but accountability can be hard. I try to live by these words like a mantra the more I sing them over the years. It is a very trial-and-error thing that takes patience and well, pure acceptance of each other. The older I get the more I learn how important it is to maintain friendships, and how much more difficult it seems to get as time inevitably keeps speeding up. So, I want to be your good friend. I say: communicate! Don't bottle your feelings up! That goes for any relationship, really. Life is short, and don't lose your old (and new) friends' phone numbers.

lyrics
All I have is my love and my perspective
I want you to feel these words and dissect it
If you are a-spinning out of your control
I am here as an ear
A friend with an open soul
A friend with an open soul
La la la la, la la!
And don't you forget me, no no no
Don't you forget me, no no no
Cause I will see you at 10:43, yeah yeah yeah
So don't you forget me, no no no
All I have is my love and my perspective
I want you to feel these words and dissect it
If I am a-spinning out of my control
Will you lend an ear to
This wounded and broken soul?
We're wounded and broken souls
La la la la, la la!
And don't you forget me, no no no
Don't you forget me, no no no
Cause I will see you at 10:43, yeah yeah yeah
So don't you forget me, no no no
Oh, if you do
That's okay too

We are a dream pop/psychedelic band from Illinois. It's all about the nostalgia, drenched in reverb. We try to only write
songs that come straight from the gut. Swirling synth textures and earthy folky singer/songwriter roots combine for a true ethereal experience. Float on the clouds for and stay for a while....more
